P.U.B.G vs R.O.S
P.U.B.G. is a summary for Player Unknown Battleground which is a concept of war game without knowing who and where their enemies are from. This game has been known since one years ago where in 2017. Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole.
The game is based on previous mods that were created by Brendan "Player Unknown" Greene for other games using the film Battle Royale for inspiration, and expanded into a standalone game under Greene's creative direction. In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others while avoiding getting killed themselves. The available safe area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.
The game was first released for Microsoft Windows via Steam's early access beta program in March 2017, with a full release on December 20, 2017. That same month, the game was released by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One via its Xbox Game Previewprogram, and officially released in September 2018. The same year, a port for the PlayStation 4 was released, in addition to two different mobile versions for Android and iOS.
The game is one of the best-selling of all time, with over fifty million sold across all platforms by June 2018. In addition, the Windows version holds a peak concurrent player count of over three million on Steam, which is an all-time high on the platform.
Rules of Survival (RoS) is a free-to-play, multiplayer online battle royale game developed and published by NetEase Games. It claims to have more than 150 million players registered worldwide. As of May 30, 2018, the game was released on Steam. Unlike the free non-Steam version, however, the game was released with a price tag, offering "special gifts" with the purchase. The game was later taken down from Steam by June 13, 2018, and reinstated by June 28, 2018.
Rules of Survival follows the standard form of the battle royale genre, where players fight to be the last person (or team) alive. Players can choose to enter the match in different modes: Solo, Duo, Squad (four players), or a Fireteam (five players). In either case, the last person or team left alive wins the match. There are two playable maps in the game: Ghillie Island (120 players, 4.8km×4.8km) and Fearless Fiord (300 players, 8km×8km). There are also different game modes such as the Gold Mode, in which the player can earn gold, or the Diamond Mode in which players may earn diamonds throughout the match.
Prior to the release of their mobile versions, PUBG Corporation initiated a legal action in the Northern District Court of California against NetEase Games in January 2018, claiming that their mobile games Rules of Survival and Knives Out infringe PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds's copyrights. PUBG Corporation's lawsuit asserts that Rules of Survival is "a copyright-able audio-visual work, individually and/or in combination with other elements of Battlegrounds", and identified several elements that appear similar in both games.
While many of these elements are common features of a battle royale game, PUBG Corporation claims that there are specific elements from Battlegrounds that copied, such as references to chicken for winning a game or using cookware as weapons.
PUBG Corporation also accused Net Ease for "cloning" Battlegrounds "at or below cost for the purpose of gaining market share before PUBG releases Battlegrounds for mobile devices." PUBG Corporation seeks both monetary damages and requiring Net Ease from further distribution of the games.
Net Ease, in responding to PUBG Corporation's request to Apple to remove the games, denied that their games violated Battlegrounds's copyrights.
At 3 a.m. as usual, sounds like a gunfire shot in a game in mobile phone belongs to Adib. Various cursing came out of his mouth when firing the enemy from an unknown direction or when he had no weapons at that time. Adib who is well-known for his silent nature and does not associate with others makes him addicted to mobile games. He, who is a final year student in his department, has now gone far as he is more concerned about the game than his studies.
Every day, okay, every day from morning to dawn he never ceases to play P.U.B.G. and also R.O.S. so the whole day does not eat and drink right away. His housemates did not know how to advise him again when they were often scolded and scolded by him whenever he advised.
"There are many ways we've been doing to stop his habit, but it's all stuck, others play this video game too, but it's not like his that too obsessive and forgetting everything."Answer one of his housemates.
Everything starts when he is influenced by his classmate who invites him to download the game and play together to fill the free time during the holidays at the weekend. But he did not expect from that time, he did not stop playing the game solely to pursue the game in the game.
During the interview in this issues, Zahid, who was his friend who introduced the game to him said, "I regret introducing this game as I only want to invite him to play just to get rid of stress as he often complains of stress with a lot and difficult assignment. But I did not think he would be addicted to this. I'm very sorry. This may be my fault.”
At the same time, Adib is willing to spend PTPTN money that he should use to pay tuition fees and pocket money to buy equipment in the game for self satisfaction. His actions feed on himself when he is willing to borrow from his friends money to eat and make a deferment payment of the fee. His actions are very unnatural and very unprofessional.
But everything is not too late, he can be alerted if he is instructed to help him financially, and he will think long whether the money is used for gaming or for food.
